Searching on BlueSting

At the moment, we specialize in "digital lifestyle" products, such as computers, digital cameras and cell phones. We hope to move into other fields such as cars, property, travel, accommodation, clothing, food, flowers and gifts at a later stage when the local e-commerce industry matures in those sectors. At the moment, the most established e-commerce sectors in South Africa are the digital lifestyle and especially IT related websites.

BlueSting is equipped with a powerful custom written search engine. We return ONLY 100% matches in our results and therefore our engine works very differently to search engines like Google! This is both a blessing and a curse depending on what you are searching for.

General Guidelines

• Don't search for products in more than 1 brand eg. "Nokia N95 and Samsung D900"
• Don't combine the brand with a model number eg. "NokiaN95", rather search for"Nokia N95"
• Searching is not case-sensitive! You can use capital letters (upper-case) or lower-case letters.
• Don't use terms like 'prices', 'compare', 'all', 'South Africa', 'buy' and 'shop' in your search term ... they are not products or product related!
